Welcome and Thank you for visiting Provincial Department of Health Services, Central Province (PDHS CP) Sri Lanka.
We are a Government body established under the Provincial Council Parliament Act of 1989, the 13th amendment to The Constitution. PDHS CP functions as the moderator between The Central and Provincial Health Ministries.
Division of the Provincial Director of Health Services Central Province is divided to three main Health Administration Division as Regional Directorate of Health Services Kandy, Matale and Nuwara Eliya.
Regional Directorate of Health Services (RDHS) areas are similar to administrative districts.
Each RDHS subdivision deliveries Preventive & Patient care Services within the district and directly responsible to the Provincial Directorate of Health Services.
Provincial Directorate of Health Services being the key supervisory body provides the maximum health care facilities through annual development plan and project It consist of four sections namely Administrative, Account, Planning & Information Management Unit and Biomedical Engineering Unit.
